Close to Bigfork The property was close to Bigfork. If you are venturing into Glacier be prepared for some time in the car. To reach the Eastern side of the park is a good 2 1/2 to 3 hours. It’s an enjoyable venture! We were surprised on our arrival on August 15th that no restaurants in Bigfork were open. Most were closed Sunday through Wednesday (asked a local and they said we arrived after the high season). Kalispell was a close drive for dinner and had many options. The house was well equipped with all the kitchen essentials. Agree with some of the others that commented about the bedding being way past it’s prime. The balcony was a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Best property Everything was exactly as I imagined since I booked it 6 months prior. My partner and I's mouths dropped as we entered, and we're sad to leave. The most beautiful property we have stayed at, HANDS DOWN!

Perfect Retreat This property was an beautiful spot for vacation near Flathead lake!

Exactly what it was advertised as! Hanging Rock was the BEST! It met all our expectations! Beautifully decorated, every time I looked around I found some new items. Wonderful location, very homey, 8 people had plenty of room, laundry facilities and appliances had been updated and the deck and the deer were awesome. Only suggestion is updating the sheets, and maybe a shade somehow for the large windows in the living room----the afternoons got very hot, and a shade would have helped. However, it was unseasonable warm while we were there. Thank you---would love to stay again

Great getaway We all absolutely loved this property! The only downfall was no ac and it was extremely warm when were out there, but fans were provided to keep things cooler. I would definitely rent this cabin again!

Every detail was thought out—from a well-equipped kitchen to an ample supply of towels, bedding, etc. The layout is perfect for those seeking time together and apart. The open floor plan and spacious living room allows for group gatherings; while the bedrooms, several bathrooms, loft area and private apartment (complete with a kitchen and balcony) provide private space. Hanging Rock exceeded our expectations. It's even more lovely than the impressive pictures and description provided by Montana's Best Vacation Rentals. Stay there. You won't regret it. In short, hanging out at Hanging Rock, well, rocks!

Hanging Rock The setting is lovely and close to town. A bit more road noise than I was expecting but not bad. Lots of space to relax as a group. Brian was wonderful to come top off the grill’s propane tank for us. Was nice to have the extra frig in the garage for beverages and larger food items. No soap in any of the showers so we used the hand soap from the vanities. Would be nice to have a better description as to the location of the trundle beds to help figure out where folks could expect to sleep. Overall we had a great experience! Thanks!

Log house Beautiful house. Beds are very high need a step stool. We are older and it was hard. Bring soap. Otherwise. Great house!

Fantastic Stay! This was the perfect house for the last leg of our trip to the Kalispell area and what a treat it was! It was meticulously clean, well stocked, warm, homey and a great central location for our travels in the area. The owners obviously went out of their way to make it a comfortable stay providing the little extras like mini individual wrapped Neutrogenia face wipes in each bathroom. We had 7 in our party and the added private bedroom/bath and kitchenette over the garage was a bonus to add to the comfort we felt while staying here, we could have stayed for a week easily. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Hanging Rock Drive What a fantastic house and location. The hunting design with animal skins and heads differentiated the house from other rentals. Plenty of room for the whole family of 9.

Best Family Christmas Our stay was amazing for our kids and grandkids! We were able to put up a tree and all of the touches of Christmas decor made it feel so homey and best Christmas House. A weekend full of playing games, great food and memories being made!

Fun Stay for the 4th of July The property was absolutely wonderful! Unbelievably fun with tons of space. Great proximity to town, and very much so secluded. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

This place is so cute! Looks exactly like the photos. We had an amazing time.

My family had a lovely time at the Bigfork cabin. The layout of the property was perfect for us. There was privacy for my daughter and her husband in the attached studio. The upper level loft also has an attached bedroom that can be closed for privacy for another family member. Two bedrooms on the main floor were perfect for my husband and I and our two grandsons. Everyone had privacy and quiet to sleep when they wanted to do that. The property has a gorgeous view from a huge deck that faces the sunset. There was a deer and her two fawns living behind the house. We had a wonderful time watching them. We played games in the evening on the large deck. It was a good location for visiting Bigfork, Glacier Park, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and other attractions. We would highly recommend it for families visiting Montana. And Montana is always gorgeous!!

Great spacious home in a great location! Quiet but close to anything you’d want to do in the Big Fork area.

Here is my review of this Air bnb The cabin itself is nice. The kitchen floor was very sticky and so were the counter tops. I had to clean them to be able to walk on the floor without sticking to it. The owners could invest in some new pots and pans! They are horrible. The coffee maker takes forever to brew which means it’s never been cleaned. The second fridge in the garage quit working after first day. Smoke detector started beeping second night we were there in the middle of the night. The owners could invest in some decent towels for the showers!! Nothing matches and they feel like sand paper. The carpets could use cleaning. When you stay at an air bnb that is this much money you expect nicer things. Shower upstairs has mold on the bottom of the door. I paid $544 cleaning fee. I expected a much cleaner place!!! It is also not relaxing to hear traffic all day long when you sit on the deck and the cabin has no AC so windows are open and all you here is traffic!! The road that this cabin sits on is highly traveled all day, even on weekends!

Spectacular escape with gorgeous views. Clean and spacious with everything one could need and more. A true getaway with an amazing location.

When looking at the pictures of this cabin, they make it seem like it's in a rural area with no other residences near by, however it's in a residential area and on a very busy road. The first night we were there we had a fire. At 10:00 p.m. we started the process of letting the fire safely die out. While we were out there we were talking, we were not being noisy or unruly, and we got yelled at by the neighbor above in the gray house. They must have the management group on speed dial, because shortly after I received a text message from them. I explained to them our side of what had happened, and their response back was the neighbors are just super sensitive to noise. After that any time we were outside there was always someone on their deck or in their windows watching us. We felt very confined to staying in the cabin and felt like anything we did would be reported to the property management group. We planned this trip to have a nice, quiet and relaxing extended weekend, not feel like we were being spied on the entire time. Three of the four mattress' were very uncomfortable. The mattress' downstairs in the room with the bathroom, the one upstairs in the room next to the loft, and the one above the garage. My husband and I slept in the bedroom above the garage and we kept rolling into the middle of the mattress and I woke up everyday with a sore neck that would turn into a migraine headache by mid-morning. Someone also needs to really deep clean the place. Everything at eye level and below was clean, but when you looked around at the staff hanging on the walls, light fixtures, fans, the log beam rafters, celing corners, the heat vent for the fireplace, windows, and the stuff on the top of the cupboards all had a very thick layer of dust and tons of cobwebs. Honestly, with how much the cleaning fee was, we would have expected the place to have been very clean and dust and cobweb free. Unfortunately, had it been something that could have easily been cleaned, we would have called the management company right away. But since this was a deep cleaning issue, there wasn't anything that could have been done during our stay.

This place was phenomenal! If you’re looking for a beautiful sunset, this is the place to be! We saw deer from the kitchen window, a hummingbird stopped by to say hi, and the view was amazing. The decor inside the house was very unique to the area. Every time we looked at the walls, we would find something new and interesting! Quite a few amenities in the house to meet your every need. The master suite above the garage was perfect for families with kids staying with a group! Even garage parking! 5 minutes from the boat docks and a golf course right around the corner. Highly recommended! If we had any questions, the hosts were quick to respond and very accomodating.

We enjoyed our stay at Hanging Rock. It was very close to flathead lake and the downtown a big fork. We thought the price point was kind of high but comparing to prices around the area it seems average. We did run out of trashbags and dish soap and about 6 hours after I contacted Them someone came over to drop some off. The cabin was extremely kid friendly with a highchair and even toys that my children thoroughly enjoyed. So that was an added bonus! And it had its own apartment that was easier to have kids in when you’re staying with other people as well. The place was a little dusty but it is a log cabin so that might come with a territory.

Amazing place. It would be difficult to find views like this in Big Fork staying elsewhere. Looks directly over the Flathead and sunsets were some of the most memorable parts of our trip. Star gazing at night next to the fire pit and fantastic location rounded out an amazing trip. Beautiful cabin and next time I visit, it will be to this place. Thank you so much!

10/10 recommend staying at the cabin. The view is incredible from sun-up to sun-down and the spacious cabin, cleanliness and experience exceeded our expectations even without the a/c (we listened to the owners about keeping the place cool) and it was truly an awesome visit! We had a blast. The deer were all over giving us extra entertainment too.

A beautiful place to stay, loved the fire pit and the views. The extra suite was perfect for our mother in law to have some privacy and quiet away from all the kids.

We had a great time staying in the Hanging Rock cabin. It is the ideal accompaniment to a trip to Glacier Ntl Park. Just 40mins from the West entrance, it is one of the closer options for any large group. The feel you get from staying in this cabin is perfect for those looking for the Montana-experience. Host is extremely accommodating and responsive. No better place to return home to after a long day of hiking; the sunset from the back porch is amazing. Would recommend to any groups of friends or family planning a visit to Glacier.

We really enjoyed our stay. Downsides included no A/C, a road too busy for walking or bike riding, and not much yard for the kids in our group to play in. We were pleased that the indoor spaces looked bigger than the pictures and the kitchen had been updated. Fantastic view of the sunset from the back deck.

Wow, what a great place for a vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful home. It was larger than expected and we could not have asked for a cooler more eclectic cabin, we loved the art and artifacts and it had all the amenities of home. The fire pit was very popular with the little ones. We definitely recommend this home and will be back.

Wonderful log house, very well appointed, nicely decorated in the style of an old log house. Having stayed at multiple log houses we thought this was the best. Beautiful view from the deck and relaxing silence !

Exactly what we were looking to book. We wanted close but not directly near Glacier National Park. Gorgeous views on the drive there and at the house. Another review said it was close to a busy road that bothered them. It is close to a road. That did not bother our party but someone might want to know if it is more country or not. It’s just outside the town … best of both worlds! We were looking for something like a log cabin with a “Montana feel”. PERFECT!!! We loved it!!

The place was spacious and beautiful. We had a large party come in for a wedding, and the layout was perfect with the beds in the loft, and also the extra apartment space above the garage. Very clean and very quiet. The view off the front porch is beautiful.

We loved our stay here, just remember that the master bed room access is via garage and entry to the property is via dirt road if you are entering after dark. Clean rooms, great communication and enough space for everyone
