This is one time where I felt like the space was even bigger than the pictures.
We truly enjoyed our stay. It was very conveniently located with in short distances to the park, Whitefish and the airport. I wish we had more couch seating, such as a sectional, to accommodate all of us to watch a movie. Also, the condo is located above a marijuana dispensary which causes all the common areas and the area around the condo door to smell very strongly of weed. It didn’t bother us but if you are sensitive to that it could be a problem. Other than that the bedding was comfortable and the condo was clean. Overall loved it!
We had a great stay here for 5 nights. Really clean, spacious, and super convenient to the airport (15 min drive) as well as Glacier NP (20-25 min drive). Located right beside a supermarket that's usually open until 11pm and a block away from several popular restaurants, including one with live music at night. We recommend trying Montana Coffee Traders for breakfast/brunch, Three Forks Grille / Gunsight Saloon / Vaquero for dinners, all within 5 minutes walking distance. Really big rooms and bathrooms, more than enough room for 4 people in the 2 bedrooms, which get very dark at night. Having a washer/dryer and dishwasher were also really convenient. The kitchen had some staples (spices, Dunkin coffee, tea, random assortment of other things) and we were able to cook breakfast and prepare lunch easily. We didn't see anyone else in the building the entire time we were there, but we could hear the upstairs apartment people walking around in the morning and at night. Communication with the hosts was easy and all done over email. Would highly recommend!
The condo beat our expectations. Very nice and very clean. The location was nice with a few restaurants and bar near walking distance. 20 minute drive to Glacier National park. Overall great experience!
5 stars all the way for this condo. It was the PERFECT location, close proximity to Glacier National Park and so close to Whitefish for a nice dinner out. Right in the heart of downtown Columbia Falls, walking distance to several GREAT restaurants. The condo was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Only suggestion is that we wish there had been more comfy seating in the living room area! Would definitely stay here again!
The condo beat our expectations. Very nice and very clean. The location was nice with a few restaurants and bar near walking distance. 20 minute drive to Glacier National park. Overall great experience
Beautiful flat in a prime location!
What a fantastic location!
Great place to stay!
This is a wonderful unit that is the perfect home base to the area. It is a short drive to Whitefish, Kalispell, and Glacier National Park. The grocery store is right next door and across the street was a saloon with live music. The condo was new including all of the furnishing. The master closet is large and was perfect for putting the pack n play for the baby. Brian and Raina are truly the superhost as I could not find the pack n play when we arrived and they brought one within an hour including fragrance free laundry detergent.
Exceeded expectations! Location to Glacier National Park was great. Walk to great restaurants and grocery next door. Clean and new!
We arrived at Soaring Eagle Retreat not knowing just how beautiful the house and location is. We were stunned when we walked through the front door. The view from the great room is breathtaking. Flathead Lake is spectacular and the proximity to Glacier National Park is a bonus. We loved the accommodations of the house and were impressed with the quality of the furnishings. They are way above what you find in rental homes. The house was also quite well equipped and that is something that you don't often find in a vacation home. The Hog Heaven design them is carried throughout the house in a most stylish and clever way. The Flathead Valley is a mixture of agriculture and mountains with scenic views any way you look. The weather was perfect and we consider ourselves blessed to spend time here. We look forward to coming back.
Our family’s time at Hog Heaven was nothing short of incredible. We consider Flathead Lake and Montana our summer “paradise,” and our stay here was the perfect place to make new, beautiful memories with our growing family. The home is instantly comfortable, the location is perfect, and communication with the team made everything so easy. We are looking forward to our next visits in the years to come. :)
This is a “slice of Heaven”!!! Absolutely breathtaking scenery and amazing house. The pictures do not do capture the amazing house! It is so spacious, comfortable and completely filled with everything you need for a wonderful time with family and friends. The location is perfect!! It is nestled in a part of Flathead that is quiet and private. The hosts are so gracious and communicate quickly. There is a boathouse with kayaks, chairs and lake items that we used on the lake. We rented a boat for a few days and it was easy to dock on their dock. We had such a great time in Montana. We plan to return. Thank you for making it so accommodating.
Our stay at Soaring Eagle Retreat was as the name insinuates...a bit of Heaven. It was perfect for our large gathering. It was very well fortified with all the kitchen necessities one would need, all the normal supplies and toys!! The grandkids loved the kayaks! One of our best memories: One of the large bald eagles that hangs around the area grabbed a large fish right in front of the house. The problem was, the fish was too big for him to fly back to his tree perch. So he swam back to the shore using his wings! It looked like he was doing the butterfly! Enjoy Montana was great also. They provided us with everything we needed and in a timely manner. We didn't have many questions, but they were quick to respond to the ones we had. Our trip was memorable in many ways, and Soaring Eagle Retreat contributed to those memories. It is a fabulous property!!
Location, location, location! Soaring Eagle Retreat is very conveniently located about 40 miles from the Kalispell airport, then just a quick turn off of the highway. Here is the cool part: once you round the corner into the driveway & open the door to Hog Heaven, the stunning views take over and you'll feel like you've been transported to a faraway land of natural beauty! And that is just the beginning! The house itself is comfortable, super spacious and very clean. Our family felt immediately at home here. The decor is inviting and lake-inspired, with a calming range of watery blues & subtle earth tones. The bathrooms are shiny clean and the kitchen is stocked with whatever you may need to cut, mix, blend, bake, fry or boil anything! We appreciated the collection of cute plastic dishes/cups for worry-free meal times on the deck with kids/teens (& adults for that matter!) There is no shortage of comfy places all around the house to relax and read a book while looking out at the evergreen trees, across the lake and toward the mountains. There are multiple spots to play a game or do a puzzle, too. A few nights we watched movies together in the basement media room which was a fun way to end the day. The sights and sounds from every part of Hog Heaven are amazing! The sunrise view from the deck is just lovely and the stars on a clear night are impressive. We frequently saw bald eagles fly across the lake and perch in nearby trees. The sound of the lake washing up on the shore reminded us of ocean waves. We enjoyed hanging out on the comfy deck furniture under the shade of the retractable awning or sitting on the dock down at the water. Our afternoons were spent in the shallows of the lake collecting colorful rocks or swimming & floating in the cool, crystal-clear deeper water. We zipped up to Somers (15 mins north) and rented a jet ski & paddle board for an afternoon which our teenagers loved. We took a day trip to Glacier National Park which was breathtakingly beautiful. In addition to the park pass- we got a vehicle reservation to drive "Going to the Sun Road" (highly recommend-road open seasonally, check the park website.) That drive from one side of the park to the other was truly spectacular! We finished that day with delicious milkshakes from the RV park restaurant nearby. (We ended up taking a few more trips there for shakes after that!) If you want to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Flathead Lake in a spacious lakefront retreat, but still want to have quick access to popular attractions, as well as restaurants & shopping in nearby towns, this is the place for you!
Hog Heaven easily lives up to it’s name if not exceeding all expectations. Our family enjoyed a week at this beautiful retreat in August 2021. Our party of 6 included ages 9-70 years old. The private driveway and humble entrance did not prepare us for what was waiting inside. The decor is chic, comfortable and tasteful which adds to the beauty the windows and deck provide outdoors. The kitchen was very well stocked with all high end appliances which made cooking a pleasure. We enjoyed daily morning coffee off the back deck with stunning views. There was no detail overlooked in the amenities provided. In fact, we joked if we desired an item to continue looking because it was stocked we simply had to find it. While the interior continued to impress us at each turn the exterior (deck and dock) continued to lure us outside. We spotted bald eagles on a daily basis adding to our enjoyment. The lake/ mountain backdrop added to our daily dips in the pristine, clear water of Flathead Lake. We enjoyed the privacy of the location yet easily accessed the amenities of the Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park. Beautiful family memories were made and we still talk about this impressive property. Awakening to the sunrise from the master bedroom overlooking Flathead Lake and the mountains is an experience I will forever cherish.
From the second you walk in the door at Soaring Eagle Retreat, you know you’re on vacation!!! The first thing I noticed when I stepped into this beautifully appointed home was the spectacular, panoramic views of the mountains that stretch across the length of the house. The sweeping back porch overlooks the crystal clear Flathead Lake as well as these majestic mountains for as far as the eye can see. I was tempted to spend my entire vacation right there on the beautiful porch admiring the stunning views. It’s simply breathtaking!!!! I love that while I was enjoying my coffee on this porch, a bald Eagle flew right overhead. Nature abounds from ever angle! We could have spent our whole time there just in this gorgeous home. It’s so tastefully decorated with new furnishings that have an inviting, upscale, coastal appeal. My daughter and I visited over the summer, and we had the time of our lives both enjoying this fabulous home as well as exploring the nearby areas. There’s so much to do in a short drive!! A major highlight for us was visiting Glacier National Park, which is the most beautiful Park I’ve ever experienced. We also went kayaking at the nearby Lake Mary Ronan Lodge. Super helpful staff and a top notch restaurant there. There’s another cute town around the corner called Big Fork. We had coffee and ate a delicious breakfast at an adorable pastry shop called Lake Baked. The town is peppered with locally owned restaurants, art galleries and jewelry shops. Such a fun outing! Another must-do is a tour around Flathead Lake, which we did by pontoon boat. Every inch of this lake offers a postcard view. Hog Heaven makes you feel like you’re tucked away in a slice of paradise, but with so many fun adventures and excursions right within reach. It’s magical!!! I CAN’T WAIT to get back there again!!!!!
Our vacation was amazing! Beautiful home, amazing views and spectacular setting. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us!
We loved the house. Very nice and comfortable inside and magnificent view and relaxing outside. Highly recommended!
Absolutely magical - the views are stunning, the house is large, open, clean, and well-outfitted, and Raina was a terrific host. We saw bald eagles everyday from the huge porch overlooking the lake, we had a great time jumping off the pier and relaxing down at the lakeside, and there was tons of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space in air-conditioned comfort when we wanted a break from the heat.
We were fortunate enough to stay at Soaring Eagle Retreat for six days and nights and had the best little get away! The location is PERFECT to get to so many places in a short period of time. There are many small & quaint towns close by with great food and shopping for everyone. Glacier National Park is not too far too...less than an hours drive. We were able to rent a nice pontoon boat in the small town next to us (Somers) - (15 min away) and toodle around the privately owned island that we had been overlooking for the previous several days. It was lovely. We also rented kayaks from there as well and that was super fun. The hiking that was close by was perfect as well. Sooo many stunning views from the tops of the hiking trails! Hog Heaven is so incredibly beautiful (inside & out), comfortable and spacious. If you decide to cook yourselves, just know the kitchen is stocked better than mine at home (and mine is stocked pretty darn good). The lake view from the back deck is absolutely stunning - overlooking the privately owned castle on the island. One night, we went out on the deck to experience the full moon and it was the most beautiful breathtaking view I had seen in some time. Or, if you just want to head out for a walking stroll, you're on a cute little road and can walk a mile, two miles or up to 4 miles and see adorable places and meet the nicest people along the way. I highly recommend Hog Heaven as a perfect vacation home for anyone.
What a beautiful place!! We had a wonderful time!
Stunning view in a spacious, cozy and beautiful house. Loved our time there - especially morning coffee on the top deck! So peaceful, serene "Soaring Eagle Retreat" had everything we needed to make our stay so special! We'll be back!
Sunset Shores vacation rental has everything you need...except a pontoon boat, which can be rented at the marina! The home is equipped with inside and outside extras. Huge bonus! 2 paddle boards, canoe, extra chairs, 3 table with chairs, picnic table. Kitchen is outfitted with whatever you desire to prepare. I would say the downside is the 2nd bedroom has twin beds and we needed to put "Grandpa" on the pull out couch for the 3 Littles. If anyone needs a room to rest quietly or separate rooms, please recheck your guests sleeping arrangements. The biggest asset is the lake, crystal clear, fewer boats use this lake, a jumping off cliff and islands to walk and paddle board around. The entire family from 1 to 87 enjoyed the home and lake. So many memories and shared stories!
Amazing place. right on the water. Lots of beach area The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need including a few extra pantry items. Lots of extra bedding provided. there was also some lake toys for you to use during your stay. overall any amazing place. I would definitely recommend it, and would love to go back.
Felt like home. Our group of 8 was comfortable and had a fantastic time! We enjoyed having time to relax at the lake after a long hike at GNP.
Beautiful spot on Swan Lake! Very quiet with an incredible view. House is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. My family had a great time here! We’ll be back for sure!
The view of the beautiful lake is incredible! The house is well-stocked and had everything we needed!
Great place with great views!
Our host, Enjoy Montana, were all very responsive. In particular, Brian did everything he could to make sure our stay was great. He is an outstanding representative of Enjoy Montana. Kudos and 5+ Stars! The cabin was very nice and the location was great. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and was well organized. Check-in was easy and the view of Swan Lake and the Swan Mountains was so nice. Highly recommend.
Sent my son and new Daughter in law to the lake house for a leg of their honeymoon. They thought everything was great and loved the lake. It's a bit of a drive to Kalispell but the flip side is that it's very quiet and a great "getaway" location but still close enough.
The house was so awesome, we had a great time hanging by the lake. It was gorgeous. Highly recommend!
Quiet retreat for our family gathering! Clean with modern amenities and direct access to the Lake. Great for kids to play in lake since there is a gradual grade creating a nice large shallow area. We had fun playing with the paddle boards and kayak.
Fantastic! Such a beautiful property. My family had a terrific time both inside and out. To anyone that plans on cooking meals while you are there, you are in for a treat. Great hosts all around!
Lovely 3 bedroom cabin right on the lake. Very comfortable, nice quite location would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely rent it again.
What a beautiful home with an excellent location right on Swan Lake. The views are breathtaking. We loved sitting outside and just enjoying the scenery. The paddle boards were used frequently. We loved our stay!
The home was clean and tidy when we arrived. I'm not sure when it was built, but it must be fairly new. Everything is well taken care of inside, beautiful counter tops in the kitchen and furniture was comfortable. It was really hot while we were there and the master upstairs bedroom got a little warm. The bedroom had a ceiling fan which was helpful. It does have air conditioning, but I forgot to turn it down before we left for the day. So it probably would have been fine. The bed in the master upstairs was fine for me, husband thought it was a little firm. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, a room with 2 twins and another room with what looked like a king bed. Lots of chairs and loungers on the patio to relax on. The water is really shallow on this end of the lake so there is no dock to tie your boat on at this property. They do however have a place to unload your canoes or Kayak on the property. It would be good for little kids as they can walk out a ways without it getting very deep.
Most amazing place on the planet. The only Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in where I asked if the owners would be willing to sell it!
We loved this Swan Lake cabin! The lake views in the A frame home with all the windows is spectacular. Everything was as described and the place had most all amenities you’d need for your stay. The three bedrooms were nice, two of which had comfy king beds (the third had two twins). It fits 6 adults comfortably, any more would be a stretch unless you have kids and place them on the couches. There is air conditioning in the house which is really nice in the summertime. Make sure to bring your own water toys and outdoor lawn games if you have multiple people (one paddle board, kayak, and paddle boat are available). Also, there is no dock available, but the shore was comfortable for beaching a boat and tying it off. Highly recommend this rental for a fun lake stay!
We enjoyed a relaxing few days at the cabin. We appreciated how clean and updated the cabin was and the beach was a big hit with the grandkids. The view from the house was spectacular and we were surprised at all the amenities that made our stay so enjoyable. We would defintely book a vacation at Sunset Shores Cabin again!
We LOVED our stay at Sunset Shores! What a gem! The house was lovely and just the size for a small family reunion with my sister and parents. Gorgeous view out the back of the house onto Swan Lake; having lake access with boats was GREAT. My six-year-old loved being able to walk out of the back door to wade in the water, and the fire pit was a bonus too. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The north neighbors even invited my kid to fish off their dock! We were surprised to find the only coffee maker in the kitchen was a Keurig (we'd brought along regular coffee and filters, not pods), and the managers were EXTREMELY responsive when we expressed confusion, quickly dropping off a brand new drip coffee machine only an hour later! Amazing service. There was a very noisy neighbor party to the south past midnight on Saturday; the rest of the week was calm and quiet. The only other small issue was an increasing need to use the flyswatters, since the seal was not tight on the two back side screen doors. We would absolutely stay here again, and will recommend it to anyone we know looking for a place in the area.
We came to the area because our son was getting married in the Flathead Lake area. When I first looked for a place and booked, we found out a week before the wedding, that the place we were going to stay at had flooded. Wow, did that make me nervous, but Raina and Brian were quick to act and worked on finding us a new place. Sunset Shores Cabin was the place, and it was fantastic! When we arrived, Raina and Brian were just finishing up preparations. They showed us around, answered questions, and let us know if we needed anything to contact them. The cabin was great, perfect room for the 5 of us staying at the cabin. We found all the amenities to be adequate, the furniture comfortable to lounge in, and the use of the canoe, kayak, and paddle boat were fun! Prior to coming and during our stay, Raina and Brian answered all our questions and concerns. We really appreciated all the support and assistance they gave us. I will definitely contact them when we come back to the area.
We really enjoyed our last minute stay at this great home! It’s cozy and beautiful. The house is so nice and well taken care of. We would recommend for families and children of all ages. We had a blast!
Amazing stay! Fabulous views, well equipped and tons of space for multiple families staying together to enjoy. Can’t wait to come back again.
Such an amazing lake and cabin! Perfect getaway
A truly beautiful and secluded property on one of the most gorgeous mountain lakes imaginable. Perfect for a multi-generation family who wants to cook together, kayak together, and sit around looking at the waves together. We’d all love to come back again! Even with less than perfect weather it was the perfect spot.
What a magical stay - for our family’s first trip to montana, we could not have had a better trip. The pictures do not do the house justice — it was an incredible home, one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve stayed in.
We loved our stay! The house is bigger in person than what it looks like in pictures. It’s a very cozy, picturesque setting. The lake is absolutely beautiful - crystal clear blue water! The water is chilly, but not terrible. We did use wetsuits for boating, so I’d bring some if there in the early summer season. We pretty much had the lake to ourselves all week. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We used the fire pit every night at sunset. This home feels very remote - perfect if you’re wanting to unplug and get away from the noise. We saw so much wildlife too (elk, owls, eagles, rabbits, frogs, geese, deer), it was magical! It was a great week of bonding time and fun for our family.
Beautiful, serene house on the most beautiful lake! It was spacious yet comfortable for family time and personal time.
House was more amazing than the pictures. Truly magical.
This home was well stocked and equipped with anything anyone would need (in regards to the kitchen). Beautiful view of the lake, easy access to the water. Even though there are neighbors, everyone was respectful of quiet hours so we were never disturbed. Ashley Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes we’ve ever been to, it was awesome staying right on the water! I’d recommend this place to anyone!
What a beautiful Lake Home and such a great location, our family had a wonderful time. Outstanding home and amenities, including a great dock on the Lake. The home feels much larger bc of such a great design/layout There was nothing to want for, it has everything. Look forward to coming back!
