Lakeshore Retreat

Lake House Really enjoyed our time here. Spacious house, tons of windows overlooking the beautiful lake and mountains. Appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials, as we cooked most of our meals in. Boating access across the street was nice, just wish there was an area more dedicated to swimming. We ended up spending most of our swim time down the road at the Lakeside Victory Park. Overall terrific stay age would definitely book again!

Nice place on the lake This place was very nice and location was good if you are ok with being a little more secluded from the bigger towns on the lake. Wild Horse island is super close. We were a little bummed because the listing said it had a boat slip but then actually didn't but the property managers took care of us. Also, it doesn't accommodate larger boats either but thankfully they made a concession since that was our main reason for booking this property. We had friends stay up at the camp ground which was convenient. The place was well appointed. Only a few kitchen utensils missing. Beds are platform so no box springs which can be a challenge for those with a bad back but overall we enjoyed our stay at this property.

Lakeside retreat Beautiful house with amazing view! Large open living space that was very comfortable. The deck! So enjoyable sitting on the deck listening to the lake and the birds. We spent hours relaxing on the deck! Highly recommend this property. It had everything we needed to be more than comfortable! Highly recommend! We look forward to coming back!

Beautiful Get Away The home is very nice and well maintained with a beautiful view of Flathead Lake! The living space is large and open and the bedrooms are roomy and the beds are comfortable. Anything we needed for cooking etc....was available. The only thing we wish we would have known is there is no cable/satellite/dvd player provided in the home; there is a television which was of no use; the amenities list a TV we should have checked to see if it was attached to anything, lesson learned. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful get away spot in Montana!

Family friendly stay We liked just about everything about this property. It was clean and well kept, and had just about everything we needed. The kitchen had the basic kitchen essentials and the pantry had a lot of the basics which was nice. Everything was very clean. The view was great, enjoyed the deck and the fire pit a lot too. We ended up bringing a DVD player to the house because we had read that there was no cable TV of any kind provided, but we were able to watch Netflix. I thought the dock would be busier with people coming and going a lot but it wasn't and we were even able to fish. My only complaint and one that may have us not renting the space again is that the living area where we watched movies and such was lacking in comfortable furniture and the beds are quite frankly, horrible. If you have any issues with sleeping on hard beds, I wouldn't recommend it. It really put a damper on our time there as none of us got good sleep. We really enjoyed everything about the property but you might consider upgrading the beds. It's a beautiful place.

Perfect 4th of July Getaway! We lived our lakeside retreat for the 4th perfect for our family and our dogs. We will definitely be back!

Nice vacation getaway We stayed 5 nights at the property. The pictures are a little deceiving. The property is not on the water, there is a small dirt road between the property and the water's edge. It is still a short walk to the lake. The lakefront is a public access, so a lot of people are there all the time. There is also a major highway that runs right behind the house. It is pretty loud at night. Since there is no A/C, sleeping with the windows open is pretty loud. The house is clean. The deck is very large and it is a nice place to get some good sun. There is a restaurant and store behind the house and across the highway. Super nice people and very helpful.

Great place to stay! They had great supplies in the kitchen & we were able to cook most of our meals right there. Very clean! We loved having the yard to use for lawn games & the firepit was fun for camp fires. The dock is not a public dock, but we were able to swim from right there at the property.

Good for Young Adults We enjoyed our stay on Flathead Lake. The place has a great location and the views from the deck/kitchen were amazing. We are young adults so we didn’t mind, but it was a little frustrating that the cleaning fee was so high yet several things in the house are broken and there were spiders/dead bugs everywhere. Overall, we had a good stay here and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Nice property, excellent views This is not directly on the lake and it is not private access. Had that been readily apparent, we would have booked a different property. The property itself is very nice, clean, and pleasant. The deck is fantastic and offers great views of the lake. The property managers were really prompt to our requests. We visited over labor day. Given that we're living through a pandemic, the public lake access was far from ideal; however, our little one really enjoyed it and we were able to find adequate social distance to enjoy the water. Unfortunately, a winter storm came in on Monday and knocked out the power. With a small child we couldn't stay our final day. We didn't anticipate a refund, but some concession would have been nice.

Wonderful The only negative would be the beds--none of them were very comfortable. Aside from that, the property is just fantastic!

Wonderful Lakefront Property We had a wonderful time and the place was perfect for our needs. Location is great and convenient. Close to Lakeside restaurants and bars. Hosts were great and very responsive to our needs. Only negatives we had were mattresses were a bit uncomfortable and it was a bit light on kitchen items like plates and glasses, larger bowls for cooking and prep.

Great House! Sweet location and we very much enjoyed our stay. It was a 90 degree weekend and the house was super hot, even with fans going! So we had to jump in the lake :) Thanks for the lovely stay.

The location and view is on point and the place just says relax. Enjoy the deck for sunrises or stargazing. We would go back anytime to relax/enjoy.

This is a beautiful house on the lake. Great views and spacious rooms, well stocked and very clean. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay on Flathead lake in the Guesthouse. The house was the perfect size for our party of three; the two bedrooms were spacious & apart from each other, across the house. The master had a nice en-suite bathroom and there was an additional main bathroom. The great room was spacious and the kitchen was really nicely sized, as well. The views were gorgeous, the house was cozy & had everything we needed for our stay. The decorations were just enough to make you feel comfortable in the guest house and the beds were reasonably comfortable as well. The futon in the living room was a little lumpy, not my favorite but still a very nice living space to sit together, it was very open and crated togetherness. Everything was very clean and nicely maintained, albeit slightly dated. It still felt luxurious. We enjoyed mornings & evenings on the deck, and spent the days wandering and seeing all there is to see in the area - which is a lot! We came for a wedding, but also made time to go into Lakeside, hike, do yoga on the lake & eat lots of good food! Highly recommend Tamarack Brewing Company for dinner and a class at Wildflower Society Yoga. The lot around the house was a nice size, providing some privacy and feeling of country living. The parking area was spacious for our two cars and could accommodate several more. The two things not advertised, but that I was able to figure out from other reviews, was proximity to the highway (the rear property line borders the two lane country highway) and the shared lakefront with the RV park up the road, which was a really nice one with a country store and restaurant. Maybe it was the slower time of year with the area being somewhat quiet, but we really found neither of those an issue. The highway was not overwhelmingly loud & you couldn’t hear it or notice it inside of the house, nor did it disturb our peace on the deck. The boat launch was not too crowded, and mostly just a few trucks + trailers parked down on the road. We even enjoyed some peaceful alone time at the lake there with our dog. The small lake drive in front of the home was nice for walks, and the neighborhood was very quiet, private and residential with some charming homes to pass by. I feel like the combination of these two things create the reason why it’s one of the least expensive lakefront properties and the best value for any lakefront property (looking at others before booking at $900+ a night) Overall, we had a wonderful stay and this BNB really was the cherry on top. Returning to the home with beautiful views and and an overall sense of calm made this vacation even more wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!

Generally, we had a *great* time, loved the property, and would not hesitate to book it again. High points were the good clear directions / guidebook and easy check-in, the amount of space (bigger than it looks in the pictures!), the bedroom and most of the dining/living room furniture, THE KITCHEN (fantastic!), nice bathroom spaces, and the way the deck space works. We were grateful to have the arranged access to the RV park's boat ramp to give us direct lake access -- would not have taken the place without that, and we were able to launch and recover a 21-ft boat most days we were there. (We did not rent a slip with the RV park because they were quite tight/short and called for a 20-ft max boat length, for good reason.) For what the home offered, we felt it was a very strong value. We did find the water pressure (from a well, apparently) very low, and, on some *very* hot days (high 90s) the house got very warm during days, though it cooled down nicely at nights. (We brought window fans knowing there was not AC.) Good communication with the owners, mostly via text -- very helpful. Overall, a fantastic property, an excellent value, and a good experience all around!

Beautiful location! Loved the house- especially sitting out on the deck each night star gazing and looking at the lake. Clean house and all the amenities you may need. Located about an hour from Glacier National Park and had many adventures right on Flathead Lake. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great summer vacation at the Lakeshore house. The location is wonderful, waking up with a beautiful view of Flathead lake. We enjoyed lake time and this peaceful enclave.

Nice clean small house (just two bed) in a fairly quiet location. Water access is actually the RV park’s docks but it wasn’t an issue. There was enough beach for our kids to play. Everything in the area is a drive away, but Lakeside is less than 15 minutes and provided all the essentials including a nice brewery, great water front park with swim area, and a spot to rent all your paddle gear nearby. Down sides are that doors and some furniture needs a little TLC and the mattresses are very firm. All in all good value.

Lovely home and location. About an hour to Glacier Nat. Park, and several parks around the lake. Greeted every morning by a sunrise view over the lake. We spotted a black bear foraging berries in the back yard to top off our Montana experience.

Great place, one hour ride to GNP, close by is a country store and Lakeside is 15 minutes away which has a resturaunt on the water and other places to eat. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. I would stay here again.

This home on Flathead had amazing views of the lake. Location hard to beat! Great area just below the house for swimming, boat launch and boat slips for rent as well. Nice open house concept that made it feel spacious and roomy! Large yard and wrap around deck for outdoor activities. Raina was amazing and very responsive to all questions! Thank you again for a memorable vacation!

The lakeside setting is absolutely beautiful!. The accommodations were perfect for our short day at Flathead..

This spot was a great value and a good location. Really enjoyed the views of the waterside and the lake. At night however, it's not a wonderful location. It is situated pretty close to the highway on a hill, so there is constant jake-braking going on. It didn't bother me too much, but may disturb light sleepers. May be less of an issue in cooler weather when windows aren't left open. Do note that while there is internet service at the house, it is pretty slow relative to city service. The access situation to the beach/dock area is a little odd. There are posted signs that it's only supposed to be used by guests of the RV park. However, this particular property is shown on the RV park brochure...Maybe they own it or there's an arrangement? Either way, we used the area to get into the water and run around on the lawn without incident.

Perfect lakeside house

Views are beautiful home is spacious!

Location and easy access to the lake is what stands out with this rental. We've stayed here twice, docked our pontoon and park our trailer on the property. It is a quick drive to Lakeside. We bring extra chairs for the deck which overlooks the lake - a really beautiful place.

Perfect 4th of July Getaway!

The house was perfect for our family and our dogs! Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. We used the fire pit every night and the dogs loved swimming in the lake. We also rented a boat and the boat dock right in front was perfect. We will definitely stay here again for for a longer timeframe. Thank you!

Clean, Comfortable & The Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lakeshore Retreat. The house is clean and spacious with big windows facing the lake. We rented a boat slip that was literally across the road from us so getting into the lake was super easy and we loved the convenience of being able to go back and forth to the house at meal times etc. We will rent this place again in the future for sure.
