Scenic, Well-Equipped Lakeside Escape My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Osprey and would gladly recommend this lakeside cabin for a Montana adventure. The cabin was extraordinarily well equipped and very comfortable. The property was well maintained and clean, especially given that it is a pet-friendly home. The check-in process was very straightforward and fast. There is a somewhat significant walk down to the property from the driveway, which if you're from "flat lands" is somewhat strenuous. The area is not walkable to any nearby restaurants or coffee shops. There was also no personal contact or communication during our stay despite requested "arrival" text being sent. Overall though, this was a wonderful experience and we would happily stay again in the future!

If you are looking for a unique place to stay with the most incredible sunrise, this is the place!! Be prepared for the hike up and down the switchback to get to the house but that made it even more unique!! Absolutely loved it!!!

Osprey is a truly special lake house. The house is everything you’d want for a getaway w significant other. Added to the overall beauty and comfort, the house is outfitted with so many bells and whistles to suit all of your cooking, sporting, relaxing and audio / visual needs.

Beautiful location , cozy cabin.

My wife and I agree this is one of our favorite Airbnb experiences ever and this home is gorgeous inside and out. It is incredibly peaceful, clean, and the also, the kitchen was so well equipped. Bed was very comfy. We loved watching a movie on the projector set up in the living room, sitting on the porch with coffee and our dogs loved jumping off the dock to catch a ball. It truly was a wonderful weekend at Flathead.

We stayed the week prior to 4th of July and we had an amazing experience. It was perfect for me, my husband & two dogs. The management team was very responsive. Upon our arrival we checked in & the walk to the cabin was beautiful but beware it's a bit much if you are carrying anything heavy like coolers etc. It was mentioned but we didn't realize till we arrived how it was. We rented jet skis from Elite Water Sports & it was great to tie them to the dock while having lunch at the cabin etc. by far better then the other companies. We rented a pontoon from Paddle Board Outfitters & it was top quality compared to the rest. Finally we did a fishing excursion w/ Hooked on Montana & another day hiked Wild Horse Island - also highly recommend them for fishing & the day hike. Back to the cabin - it was truly one of the better vacations we have stayed. It was like a sleeping in a tropical jungle with the windows open - so many bird sounds. We stayed a week & wanted to stay longer. Thank you!

We were two couples travelling to the Flathead for a 3 day escape and loved our experience at the Osprey Cabin. It was clean and so comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. The dock was an amazing place to relax and enjoy the surrounding views which are incredible. We rented a boat for one day in Big Fork and explored the lake which was wonderful. The location is close to both Lakeside and Bigfork and really was just perfect. We had a few things that we needed to let the management company know about and they were so responsive and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed and more! I do need to mention that the switchback trail to get to the house was arduous and if we weren't young and strong it would have been hard to get all of our food and luggage down and back up. It took each of us 3-4 trips up and down the trail which was well maintained. Just a lot with gear. Otherwise, it's a perfect place to relax and enjoy all that is The Flathead.

After a long flight home with several delays, I had ample time to digest my time at Osprey Bay Getaway. What I was left with was a resounding feeling of "wow"! This small-but-might rental has it all! We cooked nearly all of our meals either inside in the very well appointed kitchen or outside on the Blackstone grill. Between meals and outings to mountain bike in Whitefish, hike in Glacier National Bike followed by dinner at Home Ranch Bottoms in Polebridge, rent a boat in Big Fork, have breakfast at the Echo Lake Cafe and coffee at Glacier Perks in Lakeside, we took full advantage of the amenities. Daily sauna sessions followed by jumps in the lake; watching the sunrise on the dock; stand-up paddling board and kayaking; watching a movie on the projector screen and generally relaxing - Osprey Bay Getaway was the PERFECT basecamp for exploring this region of Montana. HIGHLY COMMEND! (And yes, the walk down from the parking area is longer than we expected!)

My family LOVED our stay at the Opsrey Getaway. It had EVERYTHING you could need for a nice vacation. My senior mother kept talking about how it was her favorite Airbnb that we have ever stayed. It was pretty close to town where anything you needed extra was readily available (Costco, REI, restaurants, groceries, etc). The listing said there wasn't a TV but there was a very nice smart projector setup that was perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, cookware, pantry basics (spices, salt, etc) and well-taken care of (the kitchen knives weren't dangerously dull). The outdoor space was also amazing with the nice grill, water toys, access to the lake, outdoor shower, and glamping tent. My only warning is even though GPS takes you directly to the location, I would not wait to check-in for the first time while it is dark. Everything is clearly marked, but in the dark, it is not the easiest to navigate down to the house if you are unfamiliar.

Wow what a hidden gem! We spent our New Year's here and we loved it so much we extended our stay! The lake view backdropped by mountains in the backyard was incredible. Some highlights worth mentioning about the home... The entire place remained cozy with all of the heating options and full control in each room. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and bake and store food with. Movie nights were special with the giant projection screen and we loved the SMART home system. Of course the Sauna was amazing. Before arriving we were curious about the reviews regarding the step path to the property. If you are an active person ignore the reviews the place is worth the small hike which is in fact a well laid and lovely lit path that was quite charming. We were appreciative to find they shoveled and salted the pathway too after some snow. Worth a visit in the winter. You feel like you are the only ones by the lake. We can't wait to visit again in the summer months!

This place is a gem. Carefully curated to maximize all the good things you are looking for within a Flathead Lake dream. Nothing is overlooked. Modern touches with rustic appeal. At the end of a very busy part of the lake, the Ospreys nest manages to place you in a very secluded and private environment. Can’t recommend enough. Now the action on the lake will inevitably be busy with the public access close by so if you are dead set on a complete quiet water be aware you will come across lots of boats and jet skis. However, I feel the trade off is much worth it to experience this very artful Montana experiences.

This was an amazing place to stay. We picked the place based off the pictures and really didnt read into the description, so when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with all the Osprey had to offer. Our favorites were the stunning view of Flathead Lake, sitting on the dock in the sun then moving to the screened in porch when it began to rain. The tent and sauna were both fantastic. I was able to cancel my gym membership after numerous hikes to the car (ha!) but it was well worth the seclusion. We even wanted to extend our stay but unfortunatly for us, they were totally booked up. Hope to one day make it back to this beautiful place.

This was our first time to Montana. We were looking for a place that put us close to the park and things to do. Somers is a fantastic location if you are wanting to just relax. If you are looking for a place to walk to dinner, bars, etc...then this is not the location. The house was very cute and cozy....LOVE IT. The walk down to the house was not for those who are have a lot luggage or have walking disabilities. The four switch backs to get to the house were cumbersome....I think we should of worked out before we came :). The house was well equipped with everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable and you need nothing. Would recommend :)

We had such a great time at the Osprey on Flathead! The host was so kind and helpful and the property was beautiful. We loved the dock and the options for water activities. The house came with everything we needed to make a fantastic lake weekend!

This was a great place a few stairs down to the place but being in the waters edge was a great location. House was beautiful and extremely at home feel. Thanks for a great location. I will recommend to all I know who are headed to the area

We loved staying at the Osprey Getaway on Somers Bay. The property was tastefully appointed, the location was incredible, and the lake was both a beautiful backdrop and destination that made our stay even more perfect. We hope to be back...!

Such a wonderful place!! It was a vacation in itself, we didn’t want to leave. Perfect area for my pups who enjoyed the lake just as much as we did. The walk down the trail to get to the house was a bit tough with our luggage but it overall the stay was worth a little extra work

Stunning area and an ideal lakeside location on beautiful Flathead Lake. Close to shopping and restaurants in Kalispell area including a great gym in nearby Big Fork. The cabin and lake do require a descent from the parking area and would not be ideal for the physically limited. However, this would be an ideal airbnb for those who enjoy being right on the water. Canoes and a convenient dock are available right at the cabin. Host was very responsive and wonderful to meet in person.

We had such a great time! The spot was idyllic. We were there for the 4th of July and were treated with a fireworks show right off the doc. Highly recommend!

This is really an awesome space. It is well stocked and comfortable with some extra fun amenities like a projector for movies and turntable for music and an awesome grill for cooking. The waterfront has a great dock and the deck is shaded in the afternoon and evening. As advertised, the path down is fairly long and has some stairs but its not steep and is well maintained. We would definitely love to go back and have already recommended it to friends.

This home is spectacular! Everything you could ever need and clean and beautiful! The house was better than we imagined . The glamping tent was perfect and the amenities were really appreciated

Nicely air conditioned and clean. Our request for a high chair was received and provided. Host made our stay a very memorable and we had an amazing time! Loved the location and design of the dock was great to keep kids contained. We rented a boat 2 minutes from house and were able to explore the lake. Only downside is the walk from car to house. 52 winding steps but if you can think of it as great exercise then it’s ok 😊

This home and location were amazing! Not only was the location on the water, private dock, and proximity to boat rentals ideal, the house itself was stylish and so comfortable. We felt at home the minute we stepped in.
